Our story

Equigate was started by Genevieve Joyce, an equine osteopath with 18 years in practice, who wanted one app that did the admin so she could get on with the horses. It was built with practitioners from day one and has been shaped by their feedback ever since.

  1. 2018 Gen knew something had to change. Nothing existed that let a practice go fully digital.
  2. 2020 Design and concept work began, with practitioners involved from the first sketches.
  3. 2023 Equigate launched.
  4. 2026 Our 60th update went out. The app has never stopped improving.
  5. 1 tree planted for every annual subscription, every year.
